What is the therapeutic indication for Fluimucil?
Fluimucil is indicated for all respiratory tract illnesses leading to the formation of phlegm that is difficult to expectorate.
This includes common cough with phlegm, acute and chronic bronchitis, laryngitis, sinusitis, tracheitis, influenza, bronchial asthma, and, as a complementary treatment, mucoviscidosis.
Who should take Fluimucil?
Fluimucil is recommended for adults and children above 2 years old who need to clear phlegm and strengthen lung functions.
Does Fluimucil have antioxidant effect?
Yes, Fluimucil has a direct antioxidant action to neutralise oxidising radicals.
Additionally, Fluimucil is essential for Glutathione synthesis (GSH), the important intra-cellular defense mechanism against free radicals in the body.
Can Fluimucil be consumed during pregnancy and lactation?
There are limited data about the use of acetylcysteine in pregnant women. Animal studies do not indicate a direct or indirect harmful effect.
Pregnant or lactating women should consult their healthcare professional before taking Fluimucil.
Does Fluimucil contain sodium?
Individuals with a restricted sodium diet should seek advice from their doctors/pharmacists before taking any sodium-containing products.
Does Fluimucil cause drowsiness?
Fluimucil 100mg/5ml solution does not cause drowsiness and has no effect on the ability to drive vehicles or use machinery.

How to consume Fluimucil® 100mg / 5ml Oral Solution?
- Pour Fluimucil® 100mg / 5ml Oral Solution into a measuring cup according to the volume needed.
- Consume immediately.
- There is no need to mix with water.
How to consume Fluimucil®A 600mg Effervescent Tablet?
- Dissolve the effervescent tablet in a small glass of water.
- Drink the solution immediately after fully dissolved.
How to consume Fluimucil®A 100mg and 200mg Granules?
- Dissolve the granules from the sachet in a small glass of water. Stir to mix if necessary.
- Drink the solution immediately after fully dissolved.
How many milliliters (mL) of water are needed to dissolve Fluimucil?
For the Fluimucil 600mg effervescent tablet, as well as the Fluimucil 200mg granules and Fluimucil 100mg granules, there is no specific recommendation regarding the volume of water required.
Any amount of water sufficient to dissolve the tablet or granules is acceptable.
